Wilma is a pretty 11 year old Thoroughbred. She and her sister, Betty were foaled in hoarder conditions at their breeders. Years later they were dumped at auction, the first time out of their tiny paddocks. The hysterical sisters were rescued by a good samaritan who kept them safe in a pasture till the property sold. Because these very bonded mares were so traumatized, they were not safe candidates for rehome. They now enjoy a large pen at the sanctuary where they can play together in safety. They love to show off for all their horsey neighbors.
