River is a tattooed Thoroughbred mare that we rescued from a WA feedlot.  She arrived with Stream, a gelding, and Ocean, another mare.  As soon as they unloaded from the trailer, the trio let us know that they wanted to be together in their new home at the sanctuary. We gave them plenty of food, and they barely noticed anything else. We look forward to seeing River blossoming into the gorgeous girl that she is.
